Individual Counseling & Therapy Services

We aim to provide a supportive, accepting environment in which we work with clients to explore concerns, formulate goals, and develop a treatment plan. Our clinicians draw from a variety of research-based therapeutic approaches, individualizing treatment based on client characteristics. We use regular progress monitoring to guide treatment. Some of the approaches we use include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Play Therapy
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Integrative Christian counseling
  • Coming soon: Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET)

We provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing many common difficulties including:

  • Academic difficulties
  • Anger
  • Anxiety/Panic
  • Attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity issues
  • Conduct problems
