I AM ROCHESTER Documentary
Time: 6:30 PM | Location: Hale Auditorium

On Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30pm, a documentary titled I AM ROCHESTER will be shown in Hale Auditorium.  It is a film that chronicles the colorful history of Rochester as a center of revival and reformation of the Christian Church amidst many of the most essential historical events of the American experience. Charles Finney, Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglas all operated out of this zip code, and dreamed their visions for humanity with sight lines of the Genesee River. The film is open to Roberts Wesleyan College students, alumni, faculty and staff.  Invitations will also be sent to members of the Northeastern Seminary community.  Finally, local community members, too, will be invited to see this documentary. How does this legacy continue today?  How does the rich history of Rochester matter in the lives of its youthful innovators, poets, pastors, and community members today?  Come see the film and discover how your future might be inextricably linked with the past.

The topic is Mental Health in the Workplace: Supporting the Whole Person.

Three-quarters (76%) of full-time workers reported experiencing at least one symptom of a mental health condition in the past year—a 29% increase from 2019.*  The mental health crisis in the U.S. has hit the workplace and now is the time to be proactive about creating a safe and supportive environment for your team.

According to a 2021 Mental Health at Work Report,* 50% of survey respondents left previous roles, at least in part, to mental health reasons including anxiety, depression and burnout. This is a 47% increase from 2019. Retaining team members has never been more important, so how do we ensure our employees’ mental health needs are being cared for?

Join us to learn more about the leadership challenges we face during this new dynamic.
  • What causes burnout, stress and anxiety?
  • How can I support and empower employees struggling with their mental health?
  • What steps can we take to remove the stigma from discussing mental health at work?
Register now today to secure your spot!
