Academic Day is being held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. This is a biennial event where the whole Roberts community, faculty and students, gather together to study a particular topic. This year’s topic will be Human Trafficking, including both sex trafficking and labor trafficking.

Traditional undergraduate classes will not be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Students are expected to attend at least three sessions.  Attendance will be recorded and reported to all faculty members. Faculty may include attendance at the Academic Day as a factor in grading.

The format for the day will include (1) at least two plenary sessions with well-known speakers and (2) two breakout sessions with a number of concurrent seminars from which students will be able to select. We plan to have about 12 breakout sessions from which the students will be able to choose to attend. The breakout sessions will run concurrently in the morning and again in the afternoon. These sessions will run for approximately 1 hour, and students will sign up to attend two different sessions.
