Summer Camp 2026 Recap

Two Weeks of Discovery, Friendship, and Fun

What an incredible two weeks!

This summer, Roberts Wesleyan University welcomed high school students from across the region to campus for Summer Camp 2026. Whether they joined us for the full overnight experience or as a day camper, students spent their week learning, exploring, creating, and building friendships that made the summer unforgettable.

Each camp gave students the opportunity to dive into a subject they're passionate about while experiencing life on a college campus. Guided by Roberts faculty and staff, campers gained hands-on experience, discovered new interests, and got a glimpse of what it's like to be a Redhawk.

Week One

Our first week was packed with curiosity and creativity as students explored Nursing, Film & Photography, Business Leadership, Psychology, and Pre-Occupational Therapy.

Future nurses practiced skills in our state-of-the-art simulation labs. Aspiring filmmakers planned, filmed, and edited their own projects. Business leaders tackled challenges that strengthened teamwork and strategic thinking. Psychology campers explored human behavior and counseling techniques, while future occupational therapists discovered how they can make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Between classes, campers enjoyed campus activities, games, new friendships, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories.

Week Two

The excitement continued during week two as a new group of campers arrived ready to learn.

Students explored careers in medicine through dissections, genetics experiments, and hands-on simulations in our Pre-Medical camp. Creative minds brought stories to life in Claymation Studio by designing characters and producing their own stop-motion films. STEM campers experimented with engineering, coding, astronomy, and quantum science, while future forensic investigators worked through mock crime scenes using real investigative techniques. Teacher Education campers stepped into the classroom, planning lessons and discovering what it means to inspire the next generation.

Every day brought new discoveries, laughter, and opportunities to grow.

More Than a Summer Camp

While every camp focused on a different academic area, one thing remained the same: students were encouraged to ask questions, try something new, and discover where their interests could take them.

From sharing meals in the dining commons and staying in the residence halls to evening games, campus activities, and conversations with new friends, campers experienced what life at Roberts is all about. By the end of the week, many left with new confidence, new friendships, and an even clearer picture of what their future could look like.

A huge thank you goes to our faculty, staff, student leaders, and camp counselors whose enthusiasm and dedication made these two weeks possible. Their passion for teaching and mentoring created an experience our campers won't soon forget.

See You Next Summer!

If this year's camps looked like fun, we hope you'll join us next summer.

Our Summer Camps are designed for high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year and offer a unique opportunity to explore future careers, build new skills, and experience college life in a supportive Christian community.
