Norwood - Harry Newman Brabon, 90, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at United Helpers - Maplewood in Canton. He was born on June 22, 1935, in Malone, son of the late Eugene and Arietta (Cummings) Brabon. He graduated from St. Regis Falls High School in 1955, then attended Roberts Wesleyan College. He married Ida May Fadden on June 8, 1957, at the St. Regis Falls Holiness Movement Church. He Pastored the Norwood Free Methodist Church from 1959-1962. Harry worked at Potsdam Paper Mill, ALCOA, then Northern Mechanical for many years, retiring in 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Ida, his children, David Brabon, Kevin Brabon and Kimberly and Colin Smith, his grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica Brabon, Kady and Justin Squires, Shannon and Carson Fuhrman, his great grandchildren, Shepherd Brabon, Olivia Brabon, Jack Pluta, Kaylah Pluta and Lola Pluta, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Barclay, Jack, Harley and Alton.

He loved to be in the woods, cutting wood, hunting, fishing and always had a story or two to tell after. He was an avid Syracuse University Basketball fan. He had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Free Methodist Churches of Norwood and St. Regis Falls.

Dan C. Clement (aged 73) of Sugar Grove, PA recently passed after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Dan spent much of his youth in South Dakota, before returning to upstate New York. He worked at the Eastman Kodak Company for 27 1/2 years. But once he made the move to Sugar Grove, he asked: "Why did we wait so long?" He loved the beauty of this area, and the friendliness of its people. Before full retirement, Dan worked with the developmentally disabled community for several years.

All family members agree: Dan embodied the gentle and creative soul of an artist. He received his B.A. in Fine Arts at Roberts Wesleyan College, later attending Pratt Institute in NYC for his master's in Communication Design. Over the years, he participated in various Rochester art groups, winning several awards for his artwork. His fine-line illustrations appeared in many exhibitions, including a showing at the Smithsonian Institution.

Dan shared an equal passion for art and music, he toured the country in the Roberts Chorale, and played guitar in multiple groups over the decades, even embarking on a coast-to-coast tour. He remained a member of the Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church music team, until he could no longer hold his guitar. However, Dan's greatest legacy continues with the family he leaves behind.

Dan was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Robert and Mary "Jackie" (Hendricks) Clement. He is survived by Carol "Annie" (Barlow) Clement (his wife of over 50 years); three children, together with their spouses: Mara R. Bogdanski (& husband Dana), Justin B. Clement (& wife Jennifer), and Vesta D. Corder (& husband Jonathan); one grandson (Marius A. Bogdanski); and two step-grandsons (Mikael & Arthur Corder). Dan also leaves behind three siblings and their spouses: Dale & Nancy Clement, Carol & Gerald Boehlke, and Keith & Cora Clement. Dan had great love for his extended family, and his beloved nieces and nephews also mourn his loss. Dan was a good and gentle soul. His love for his family was only surpassed by his love of his Lord.
