Faculty Clinical Supervisors

Cheryl Repass, PsyD

Clinic​ Executive Director, Clinician, Licensed Supervisor, Department of Psychology Chair, School Psychology Masters Program Director, Traditional Undergraduate Program Co-Director, Professor of Psychology

Dr. Repass specializes in the field of School Psychology, with over 15 years of experience working in the schools. She earned her Doctorate in School Psychology from Alfred University and is a Licensed Psychologist as well as Psychology Department Chair, Professor, and Program Co-Director.

Specific areas of expertise are in assessment and diagnosis with primary specialties in areas of learning and behavior, social emotional concerns and their effect on learning, autism, gifted learning behaviors, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, processing disorders and evidence based intervention.

Dr. Repass has been dedicated to the work of understanding the learning needs of children throughout her career. She is committed to better understanding some of the hardest to answer child and adolescent difficulties in hopes of providing better support to children, families, and schools. She welcomes opportunities to form collaborative relationships with home school families, private and charter schools, and P-12 public schools. 

Jennifer Aube, PhD

Clinic Consulting Director, Clinician, Licensed Supervisor, Department of Psychology PsyD Program Director, Traditional Undergraduate Program Co-Director, Professor of Psychology

Dr. Aube earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from McGill University. She is a Licensed Psychologist as well as Professor of Psychology and Doctoral Program Director at Roberts Wesleyan University. She has over 25 years of experience providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services in a variety of settings, including college counseling, private practice, outpatient clinics, and hospitals.

Dr. Aube has experience treating a variety of psychological issues in adults, including depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, grief, and trauma. She works with people who are experiencing stressful life events, difficulties in relationships, loss, and challenges in their lives, and who seek to better understand themselves and develop new skills to manage these challenges more effectively. She has a special interest in providing a space for those who wish to incorporate their Christian faith into the therapy process to become emotionally and spiritually healthy.

Dr. Aube considers it a privilege to partner with those who are struggling. She aims to provide a place where clients can be heard, understood, and accepted. She works collaboratively to help clients gain a better understanding of their problems and to commit to actions that will improve their lives.

Ashley Cooper, PsyD, CAS

Clinician, Licensed Supervisor, Department of Psychology Assistant Professor

Dr. Cooper earned her undergraduate and graduate training from Roberts Wesleyan University, including her doctorate degree in School/Clinical Psychology. Dr. Cooper currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Roberts Wesleyan University. She is also employed as a behavior therapist at Genesee Valley Institute of Psychology and Meridian Psychology Practice where she specializes in treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorders. Dr. Cooper’s previous clinical experience includes the role of school psychologist where she worked primarily with preschool and elementary school-aged children.

Dr. Cooper is passionate about providing a safe and inclusive space for her clients to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to effect healing, growth, and change.

Lauren Monthie, PsyD

Licensed Staff Psychologist, Supervisor, Department of Psychology Adjunct Professor

Dr. Monthie earned her PsyD in Clinical/School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University and is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families. Her prior experience spans residential, school, and community mental health settings, where she has provided therapeutic and diagnostic services.

Dr. Monthie offers trauma-informed caregiver training through Trust-Based Relational Intervention and finds value working with the entire family system. She also has experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has a background in school psychology, particularly in special education, and wishes to continue fostering collaborative relationships with nearby schools. Additionally, Dr. Monthie integrates her passion for art and play into therapy, providing a creative outlet for those interested in exploring various therapeutic platforms.

Joe Teeple, PsyD

Licensed Staff Psychologist, Supervisor, Department of Psychology Assistant Professor

Dr. Teeple completed his undergraduate education at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and his doctorate in clinical psychology at Marywood University in Scranton, PA -- Yes, the town from The Office! He completed his doctoral internship at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center and is a licensed staff psychologist and supervisor at Westside Psychological Services, as well as an associate professor of psychology at Roberts Wesleyan University and adjunct professor at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Dr. Teeple has experience treating and assessing cases ranging from ADHD and learning disorders to complex trauma. He works primarily with adults and has clinical interest in working with patients with trauma and has a special interest in working with patients suffering from terminal illnesses. Dr. Teeple also has an interest in group therapy.

Doctoral Candidate Clinicians

As a doctoral training clinic, Westside Psychological Services serves as a practicum site for the PsyD program at Roberts Wesleyan University.

Our widely diverse and exceptional doctoral candidates perform the majority of evaluations and therapeutic services at the clinic, under close supervision by licensed faculty, postdoctoral clinicians, and staff. This model allows us to keep our fees low, while still providing excellent service to the Greater Rochester community and beyond.

Belva Allread

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Belva Allred

Belva is originally from Utah and moved to New York to pursue a doctoral degree in psychology. She has a passion for working with children and adolescents; to help them change the trajectory of their lives. She has experience working with youth in academic, health, and spiritual growth areas. Belva looks forward to expanding her clinical work with all ages and ability levels as she continues her education and grows in her knowledge and experience.

Cole Cavanaugh

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Cole Cavanaugh

Cole is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, develop greater self-awareness, and build the skills needed to improve their overall well-being. He has experience working with diverse populations across clinical, hospital, and community-based settings, supporting individuals with a range of psychological and emotional concerns.

Cole takes a collaborative, individualized approach to therapy and strives to create a supportive, inclusive, and judgment-free environment. He believes empathy, trust, and genuine connection are essential to effective therapeutic work. His clinical interests include cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and psychological assessment, with an emphasis on helping clients develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting growth.

Shayla Chau

Shayla Chau

Shayla is passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges and helping them feel understood and encouraged. She strives to create a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable space for clients. She enjoys the therapeutic process and values helping clients gain insight, recognize their strengths, and make meaningful progress.

Julia Cipriano

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Julia Cipriano

Julia is passionate about working with clients as they navigate challenges on their journey toward growth. Her therapeutic approach involves empathy, openness, and understanding toward all clients. She believes that therapy is a collaborative, individual process and is honored to participate in this experience with clients. Her aim is to provide clients with the tools and support they need to achieve their goals.

Maggie Comfort

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Maggie Comfort

Maggie earned her B.S. in psychology with a minor in sociology from Roberts Wesleyan University. Her previous experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities in school and community habilitation capacities. Maggie is passionate about creating a safe, understanding environment for growth that emphasizes individuality and collaboration. She looks forward to using evidence-based approaches in partnership with clients as they navigate the therapeutic process.

Sophia Garlock

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Sophia Garlock

Sophia believes that meaningful growth begins in a space built on trust, respect, and genuine connection, and she is committed to creating that kind of welcoming environment for every client, shaping her approach around what each person needs.


Sophia is passionate about serving individuals across all populations and stages of life. She brings a dependable, detail oriented approach to her clinical training and is dedicated to meeting each client with compassion, professionalism, and an eagerness to learn.

Priscilla Grima

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Priscilla earned her undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience at Northeastern University. She has experience working with children and adolescents in educational and behavioral settings, including supporting children with autism spectrum disorder.


Priscilla believes in creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. She is passionate about building genuine therapeutic relationships and helping clients recognize their strengths while working through emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. She takes an individualized, strengths-based approach and values collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.

Malaya Hagge

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Malaya Hagge

Malaya completed her undergraduate education at the University of Rochester. She is passionate about creating a collaborative and open environment where clients feel heard and understood. She believes healing happens at a person’s own pace, and is honored to be invited on that journey with them.

Malaya is interested in helping clients of all ages, but is particularly passionate about working with children/adolescents and their families.

Jocelyne Hakizimana

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Jocelyne Hakizimana

Jocelyne graduated from St. John Fisher College (now known as St John Fisher University) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She’s worked with various populations including foster care, youth & family, and the homeless population. Jocelyne values creating a safe environment for people to prioritize their wellbeing and mental health, and is passionate with working with individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds.

Grace Martinichio

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Grace Martinichio

Grace earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health sounseling from Syracuse University. Her approach is grounded in empathy, careful listening, and thoughtful collaboration. She strives to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to explore their experiences, overcome challenges, develop meaningful insight and coping skills, and cultivate personal growth. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and works alongside each client to better understand their individual needs, strengths, and goals.


Grace is passionate about serving all members of her community, with a particular interest in supporting young adults as they navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of emerging adulthood. Her therapeutic interests include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which she incorporates to help clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful and lasting change.

Richard Mourani

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Richard Mourani

Richard Mourani is a doctoral student in clinical psychology with a strong interest in mental health, human behavior, and
helping others. He earned his undergraduate degree from Manhattan College, where he also studied sociology, which helped shape his interest in how social and environmental factors influence people’s lives. Richard is especially interested in working with children and families and developing his skills as a future psychologist. He hopes to build a career focused on providing compassionate and culturally responsive care while making a positive impact in the community.

Colette Rosica

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Colette Rosica

Colette earned her B.S. in psychology and English at Roberts Wesleyan University. She strives to create a warm and judgement free atmosphere and to collaborate with clients to work toward their therapeutic goals. She focuses on providing an individualized approach to therapy and assessments for her clients and prioritizing collaborative approaches to goal setting and treatment.

Colette has experience in group therapy, assessment and therapeutic work with adolescents, and education related concerns. She enjoys working with clients of all cultural backgrounds and varying ages.

Jonathan Rossi

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Jonathan Rossi

Jonathan earned his bachelor's in psychology from the University at Buffalo and master's in psychology from Medaille College. He has worked with various populations across a variety of settings offering care management services, medical and psychological intervention, as well as contributing to scientific research.


Jonathan believes helping others begins with a genuine connection and curiosity about each person's unique walk of life. Through the use of a person-centered approach, he ensures any individual can come as they are and find a place of healing and self-growth.

Joshua Sidoti

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Joshua Sidoti

Joshua entered the field of psychology with a genuine desire to help people and support them through difficult experiences. He values learning about each person's experiences and helping them work through the challenges they may be facing.

Joshua has a particular interest in psychological assessment because of the clarity it can provide. He values being able to provide clients with concrete information that can help explain what they have been going through. Joshua believes that having a better understanding of the reasons behind their experiences can help them take the next steps toward getting the support they need.

Jorie Strzelecki

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Jorie Strzelecki

Jorie is passionate about building genuine, meaningful relationships with each individual she works with, creating a therapeutic relationship that maximizes growth and supports lasting, meaningful change. She is dedicated to helping clients develop insight into their personal challenges and experiences, empowering them to overcome obstacles in their mental health.

Jorie is especially passionate about the relationship between mental health and the criminal justice system and is committed to working with individuals of all backgrounds, valuing the unique experiences and perspectives that shape each person.

Ryan Wienczorkowski

PsyD Doctoral Candidate, Practicum Clinician

Ryan Wienczorkowski

Ryan graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a BA in psychology in the class of 2025. During his time in undergraduate, he was passionate about psychological research, as well as the campus radio station. At Geneseo, he partook in the Subtle Sexism research lab, headed by Dr. Claire Gravelin.

Presently, Ryan is a 2nd year doctoral student at Roberts Wesleyan University, working towards his PsyD in clinical and school psychology. He is passionate about working with clients to find evidence-based solutions tailored to their specific needs. Ryan is committed to the values of patience, compassion, and kindness, which he uses in order to ensure the best experience he can for his clients. In the future, he hopes to work as a clinical psychologist with specialization in the assessment of autism spectrum disorder.

Kelly Bisciotti

Clinic Operations Administrator

Kelly earned her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from SUNY Brockport. Previously a senior technical associate in a prestigious biomedical genetics research lab for 15 years, Kelly has turned her focus to family and other interests.

With a lifelong passion for administrative support, Kelly has embraced her support role in Westside Psychological Services with billing, scheduling, and other operations needs.

Kelly has a personal interest in holistic wellness, and understands the importance of mental health advocacy. She is thrilled to be able to support the greater Rochester community through her clinic role.
