What Will I Learn?

The School Counseling Program is designed to prepare students for direct practice within public or private elementary, middle and high schools. Direct practice includes individual and group counseling, career and educational guidance with students, and consultation with parents, teachers and school administrators.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be eligible for provisional certification leading to permanent certification as a School Counselor in the State of New York.
