Adolescence Education Physics

  • Students are prepared to apply for New York State teaching certification in Physics for grades 7-12 (with an extension in Physics for grades 5-6).
  • Students have the option of completing requirements for dual certification in Adolescence Education Physics 7-12 and Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalists.
  • Students are prepared to pursue graduate studies in education, Physics, or other related disciplines.
  • Students have the opportunity to participate in the Adopt-a-School program and other STEM initiatives.

All Adolescence Education Physics students are assigned an advisor in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics as well as an advocate in the Teacher Education Department.
