Nicholas Grunert ‘17 (Management) - 2017 Alumni Association Senior Award Recipient

Each year, the Roberts Wesleyan College Alumni Association honors one graduating senior with the Senior Alumni Association Award. This award recognizes an exceptional new graduate and is a celebration of all new alumni.  The recipient is chosen based upon a written application and interview. We recognize this individual at a special Celebration of Excellence Chapel and at Commencement.

This year’s honor was given to Nicholas Grunert ‘17 (Management). Nic was involved with multiple missions trips (including trips to Huehuetenango, Guatemala with the Roberts Enactus team), he worked with the leadership of Story International to impact the lives of orphans, Nic has been a leader in the Enactus program, and he has volunteered over 2,000 hours while a student at Roberts.

Nic is from Croghan, NY and knew from his first visit to campus that Roberts was the place for him. He currently attends Grace Road Church in downtown Rochester.

Nic’s future plans include working for Fuego Coffee Roasters in the City of Rochester. Always an entrepreneur at heart, he hopes to help them to expand to West Palm Beach, FL early next year.

Congratulations Nic. We look forward to hearing about your positive impact and contributions in the years to come!
