The B. Thomas Golisano Library is pleased to announce the 2014 Association of Christian Librarians Research Award winner for Roberts Wesleyan College: Christopher Sullivan for his research project, Introducing the Incarnate Christ: How John’s Logos Theology Sets the Stage for the Narrative Development of Jesus’ Identity. Christopher was nominated for this award by Ms. Traci Birge, Northeastern Seminary, and his project was reviewed by a panel from the Golisano Library staff.
The Library also recognized Andrew Irish with an Honorable Mention award for his research paper, Nursing and Social Work Emergency Department Simulations: Exploring Interprofessional Education. Andrew was nominated by Dr. David Skiff, Dr. Timothy Chaddock and Dr. Hiie Silmere in the Department of Social Work.
These students exemplify the personal characteristics that Roberts Wesleyan College seeks to cultivate in its graduates and the research skills that Golisano Library seeks to promote and support in the students it serves. The Research Award included a certificate of recognition from the Association of Christian Librarians and the Library and letters of congratulations, which were presented to them in the Fireside Reading Room on April 24th.
Congratulations, Christopher and Andrew!
