Tuesday, January 17, 2017 “Contemplative Prayer”
Community Chapel will be led by Bill Reynolds discussing the theme of contemplative prayer and sharing his experiences in chaplaincy.
At the Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse sites Alumni Prayer Connections will be offered. In these sessions, and alumni will facilitate an evening prayer or devotional with Core students during the first and last class of each semester. The intimate settings at each location will allow students to interact and build a relationship with alumni in their respective community.

Thursday, January 19, 2017 “Social Justice and Ethics”
Community Chapel will be led by Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary graduate Amy Lynn Smith. Amy is a licensed Master Social Worker and is the founder of Freelancing Hope.

Roberts Wesleyan College students to volunteer for RochesterCares’ King for a Day. They will be serving at several locations around Rochester, including The Charles Finney School, located at 2070 Five Mile Line Road, Penfield, NY 14526. Kick-off at 8:30 A.M. at the Stardust Ballroom at 41 Backus Street.
