Pre-Dentistry

Dentistry is a thriving profession and offers many options including working as a general practitioner, a specialist, and or educator.

The pre-dentistry program prepares one to apply for entry into a dental school. Each student will choose a major at Roberts. A student should choose a major based on what one would want to do if he or she did not gain admission to dental school. Students often choose a science major since a number of science courses are required in the pre-dentistry program.

Courses include:

  • General Chemistry
  • Organic Chemistry
  • Physics
  • General Biology
  • Semester of Calculus

Graduates successfully enter dentistry programs around the country. Students applying to one of Roberts Graduate and Post Graduate Partner School Programs may secure a seat at their chosen dentistry program as early as their senior year in high school and save on the costs of applying to a professional school.

Dr. David Roll serves as the pre-professional health advisor and the college is a member of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions.
