Health Administration

Prepare for a career in the business side of healthcare when you join clinical and business workers from across the healthcare spectrum in a diverse learning environment. You will complete 5 semesters in the campus-based Business Administration major before transitioning into the Bachelor's in Health Administration (BHA) program for the final 3 semesters. These final semesters will be completed online or in class 1-night a week.

From Undergraduate Business to BHA

Begin the Health Administration, B.S. (BHA) program in the Spring of your Junior year.

Class Locations

Classes offered at our Jefferson Rd. Ext. Center (Henrietta, NY) or 100% online! (Transportation will be needed for Jefferson Rd. location).

Two Healthcare Internships

You will complete 2 semester-long internships in a healthcare setting so you are prepared for life after Roberts. (Transportation will be needed).

What Will I Learn?

You will take the required general education courses and traditional Business Administration courses such as economics, marketing, and accounting for the first 5 semesters.

The following 3 semesters, you will take Health Administration courses focusing on healthcare research, healthcare organizations, systems and management, and bioethics. You will also complete an applied research project and two semester-long practicums in a healthcare setting.

Who Will I Meet?

Michele Kraynik

Michele Kraynik

Professor, Health Administration

Dr. Kraynik is both a Registered Nurse and Attorney in New York State, bringing 30 plus years of experience in healthcare administration to her role. She remains active in many professional healthcare and legal organizations and also serves as as a member of the Surrogate Decision Making Committee (SDMC) for the New York State Justice Center. Her research interests include healthcare reform, business ethics and the legal and ethical obligations to provide care.
