Internships Opportunities that begin your Freshman Year

You have the opportunity to observe and intern beginning at the freshman level and culminating in a 15 to 20 hour-per-week, semester-long internship at the senior level. You can explore internships from a diversity of options as the Rochester area includes all major types of criminal justice settings.

Recent Internship Highlights!

RWC Students Kianna Farrell and Kaitlynn Zaffuto have been accepted as paid interns.   Kianna is interning at the Department of Justice US Attorneys Office for the Western District of NY and Kaitlynn  is interning with the FBI in Buffalo NY.  Also, current student, Matt Hohler is interning with the ATF.  These are outstanding opportunities that students are receiving through the Roberts Criminal Justice Department!

Criminal Justice Opportunities

The Criminal Justice Club sponsors a variety of activities promoting criminal justice and economic crime investigation, both on and off campus. The Club has visited the Attica Correctional Facility for insights into criminology, sponsored a Criminal Justice Explorer’s Post, and set up Criminal Justice month, which has included a Career panel, K-9 demonstration, Hypnosis Demonstration, Applying for Jobs and Graduate Schools Information panel, Victim Impact panel, and a variety of other social activities. The club sponsors an annual urban Criminal Justice experience to New York City, Washington, DC, or Boston. Students who participate in the urban experience are afforded the opportunity to ride along with the local police and visit a variety of Criminal Justice venues in the city and surrounding region.
