  • Major Requirements: 86 

    • 12 hours of foundations courses during the first two semesters (ART 102, 103, 104, and 105)

    • Art history courses (ART 191, 291, 391 or substitution of ART 490 for one art history course)

    • Upper-level contemporary issues in art course (ART 491) and both senior capstone courses (ART 496 and 497)

    • 29 hours of Education Pedagogy courses (required for NYS K-12 Certification in ART

    • 8 hours of Art Education Methods courses 

    • 21 hours of studio art courses (focus or concentration and electives)
