Clinic Details

The Summer Reading Clinic is designed for young students entering grades 1-6 in the fall of 2017. Parents find this 3-day/week experience helpful for readers and writers with a variety of strengths and areas of growth.

  • July 5-27 | Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday | 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • For Children Entering Grades 1-6 (currently in K-5)
  • Non-refundable Registration Fee: $50

This year students will receive small group literacy instruction from certified teachers who are completing a Master’s of Education in Literacy.  The instructors will conduct assessments to determine students’ areas of strength and growth and provide appropriate instruction accordingly.  Instructors will prepare progress monitoring and final reports for you and any school personnel you choose to receive them.

Registration

Download the registration form and return it, with a check for your non-refundable registration fee, to the address below.  The last page of the form allows Roberts to obtain school records to help plan appropriate instruction.  Since this opportunity fills fast, please register at your earliest convenience. Include a check made out to “Roberts Wesleyan College” and in the memo line “Summer Reading Clinic.”
