Cancellation Procedure

Whenever an illness or emergency arises, please notify your teacher 24 hours in advance. You may also call the RCMS office (594-6101) for cancellations. Following this expectation can save valuable time for the teacher and is much appreciated. 

Please Note: Teachers are not obligated to make-up any lesson cancelled by a student; however, many teachers offer them as a courtesy when possible. Teachers are required to make up lessons they cancel.

Except for the highly unlikely event of a campus-wide closing due to snow, RCMS does not cancel lessons due to snow.  Individual teacher may, at their discretion, cancel lessons on an individual basis. These lessons will be made up at a later date.

Refunds & Withdrawals

In order to discontinue lessons/classes during the school year, the student AND parent must complete a RCMS Discontinuation of Lessons form. In all cases of student withdrawal, registration fees are non-refundable. Students who must withdraw for verified medical reasons will be charged only for lessons/classes through point of withdrawal.    

 Timing of Withdrawal Charges

  • At least two working days prior to first lesson/class of any term:

    NO CHARGE

  • After two working days prior to first lesson/class of any term, and up until the third lesson/class of any term:

          CHARGE FOR THREE LESSONS/CLASSES

  • After the date of the third lesson/class of any term:

          CHARGE FOR THE ENTIRE TERM

Checks should be made out to RCMS. Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling 594-6101 or you can pay online. All information will be kept confidential, and submitted to the Cashier’s Office at Roberts Wesleyan College.
