Learn More About the Counseling Center and All It Provides

The Counseling Center is comprised of two full-time counselors, a part-time temporary counselor, and two practicum students from the Roberts PsyD program. We are primarily serving students via a HIPPA-compliant telehealth platform, however, we are able to make exceptions to this on a case by case basis if engaging in teletherapy is a barrier. In-person sessions require masking.

Every Monday while classes are in session, we are offering a virtual Mindful Monday break from 12:30-12:45 pm. All Roberts faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend. Participants are led through a brief mindfulness exercise with the intention of reducing stress and learning a skill to use independently.

To access services through the Counseling Center, students are asked to complete the intake paperwork. They will then be contacted by a counselor to set up an appointment.  Concerns and questions can be sent to counselingcenter@roberts.edu.

The Counseling Center will not be open over the break between semesters (Dec 12-Jan 19). We are able to assist students in connecting with a counselor in their hometown if requested.
