Greetings from the Registration Office! As we look forward to the spring semester, there are a few things we feel parents should be aware of.
The course schedule for spring 2020 will see many more online offerings, to accommodate those students who will choose to learn partly or completely through virtual means. There are still many in-person courses to choose from. Pre-registration for the spring semester will begin on November 9th for traditional undergraduates, starting with seniors beginning on that day, juniors on the 10th, sophomores on the 11th and freshmen on the 12th. Spring semester classes will begin on Wednesday, January 20th, and we look forward to seeing your students then! Any questions regarding registration can be directed to our office by emailing registration_office@roberts.edu.
For those students completing their degree requirements this semester and graduating in December, an Application for Degree form is required and can be found on the Registration intranet site, under ‘forms.” Please note that students who graduate at the end of the fall semester will then participate in the May 2021 commencement ceremony (as there is no commencement ceremony in December).
Students considering taking a class during the winter term through another college should get pre-approval to do so. A “Pre-Approval to Transfer Credit” form is available on the registration intranet site and should be taken for approval to the department here at Roberts which offers similar work. The form ensures that a course taken elsewhere will transfer back to Roberts appropriately.
