Redhawks Spring Sports Summary

MEN’S LACROSSE

The Roberts Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team advanced to the East Coast Conference Championships for the first time in program history. The Redhawks finished the season 7-8 overall and claimed the No. 4 seed in the ECC tournament. Sophomore Hunter Lemieux and senior Sam Schubach were named all-conference second team.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE

The Roberts Wesleyan women’s lacrosse team had its most successful season in program history posting 11 wins. After starting the season 8-1 the Redhawks began receiving votes nationally. The team ended up 11-6 while making its third straight trip to the conference playoffs. Four players earned all-conference honors.

TRACK & FIELD

The Roberts Wesleyan track and field teams turned in yet another impressive outdoor season. The women’s team won the East Coast Conference Championships while the men took third overall. At the NCCAA National Championships the women’s team placed second and the men took third.

MEN’S TENNIS

The Roberts Wesleyan men’s tennis team earned its first-ever postseason berth advancing as the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament. The Redhawks finished 12-11 overall. Guido Janssen earned first team all-conference honors while Boyd Blackburn was second team all-conference.
