Roberts to Host Spring Leadership Breakfast: Why Agility Matters with Drew Saur

Roberts Wesleyan College will host its annual spring leadership breakfast, featuring Drew Saur, CIO of the Palmer Family of Companies, on Why Agility Matters. The event will take place on Friday, March 15, from 7:30-9:00 a.m. in the Howard Stowe Roberts Cultural Life Center on campus.

During his presentation, Saur will discuss how agility can reduce the fear of wasting time, the difference between a commitment- and promise-based culture, how leaders can move people along the continuum from uncertainty to certainty and more.

Saur is a frequent lecturer and sought-after expert on agility. As chief information officer for the Palmer Family of Companies, he executes strategic and tactical technology management for Palmer Food Services, G&C Foods and Palmer’s Direct to You Market. For more than 25 years, he’s managed complex software engineering and information technology endeavors through applied rhetorical theory. By focusing on the importance of building empathy and trust, he helps create and strengthen relationships between engineers, those in technically-minded professions and their customers.

The event will be moderated by Lisa Tiffin, director of grant development at Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary. Tiffin has run the biannual Leadership Breakfast series since 2015. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the presentation.

Tickets are $10 with a portion of each ticket supporting student scholarships and programs through the Roberts Fund. Event and table sponsorships are also available by contacting Lisa Tiffin at tiffin_lisa@roberts.edu.
