Redhawks Who Soar

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its over 17,000 alumni. Roberts Alumni are working in the fields of education, law & government, healthcare, non-profits and creating new breakthroughs in music – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Here are this month’s Redhawks Who Soar:

Kaitlynn Zaffuto’14 (Accounting & Info. Management and Economic Crime Investigation) is an Auditor Investigator with the NYS Office of the Attorney General. She also achieved a master’s degree in Forensic Accounting from SUNY Brockport. 

Angela Jimenez McGinnis’83 (Nursing) is a Cardiology Nurse Practioner for the U of R Cardiology Associates. She received her master’s degree from University of Rochester in 2014.  Angela was inducted into the Roberts Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.

Courtney Hitchcock ’17 (Communication) will be starting law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach in the fall. Courtney received a full academic scholarship for three years. She will be concentrating on human rights law and has received a grant that will cover international travel and expenses. 

Kai Chitaphong’97,’02 (Psychology and Sociology, MSW) is the National Director, Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership (VITAL). Kai received his PhD in Counseling and Human Development, with a concentration in Counselor Education from the University of Rochester in 2015. He is also a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Keisha James’15 (Communication and Psychology) will start her Masters in Communication at Villanova University in P.A. this fall. She received the Presidential Graduate Fellowship, only one awarded per year, which is based on merit to students from underrepresented groups. Keisha will receive full tuition remission and a living stipend.  Previously, she was an Admissions Counselor and the Visit and Events Coordinator at Roberts Wesleyan College.
