Roberts Inducts Students Into Honor Society

During a ceremony on Friday, April 21, Roberts Wesleyan College welcomed 20 new members to the Tau Lambda chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society for adult professional studies. Alpha Sigma Lambda members are selected from the top 20 percent of their class and must have completed 24 undergraduate credit hours with at least 12 credits earned in the liberal arts and sciences.

Each inductee was presented with a certificate, honor pin and graduation cords by faculty members from their respective departments. The following students were inducted into the Tau Lambda chapter:

  • Organizational Management program: William A. Bishop, Margaret Carlston, Joseph W. Ehrmantraut, Jacob J. Harrington, Lucas Marble, Thomas C. Mattice, Kaitlynn C. Merckling, Samantha Navas and Kari Nguyen
  • Bachelor of Health Administration program: Michelle L. Farrands, Nicole M. Hungate, Lisa R. Musial, Jason M. Battaglia, Beth Goodman and Jackie R. Stevens
  • Pathway to Teaching program: Melissa Drachenberg, Migdalia Escalera, Scott Hunsinger, Jennifer Lewis and Gabrielle Rumrill

“We take great pleasure in honoring the hard work and dedication of our students,” said Penny Cannon, director of organizational management. “We are so proud of all they have achieved and will accomplish in their future endeavors.”

The inductees, along with their families, faculty and staff, celebrated this accomplishment with a reception in their honor.
