Redhawks Women's Basketball Team Set to Defend National Championship as #1 Seed

The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team is headed to the National Christian College Athletic Association national tournament after defeating Ohio Christian University 68-61 on Saturday afternoon.
 
The win over the Trailblazers named the Redhawks the NCCAA Midwest Region Champions. The team will look to defend its National Championship title from last year when they begin play in this year's tournament on March 15 at Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind. Greenville, SC:  Following the completion of the Regional Championship playoffs on Saturday, March 11, the NCCAA tournament committee chose the At-Large Selections and seeded the field for the Division I Women’s Basketball National Championships. Congratulations to the following teams:

The Christian Service Projects are a hands-on opportunity for teams to assist the Kosciusko County community. Service areas include the Salvation Army, elementary schools, pregnancy centers, and more. Men’s championship action will begin on Wednesday, March 15. Semi-finals will then be played on Thursday, March 16 and the championship game on Saturday, March 18.
