Rachel has been selected as an American Chemical Society (ACS) IREU Scholar for 2016-17 program year.
The IREU program is made possible with the generous support of the National Science Foundation and is organized by the Office of International Activities at ACS. She represents the top 6% of applicants who applied to the program. She will be participating in research at the University of Perugia, Italy under the advisement of Professor Alceo Macchioni.
As an IREU scholar she will be attending the welcome orientation at ACS headquarters in Washington D.C. along with participating in the 2017 Spring ACS Meeting in San Francisco, CA to present the results of her internship.
