CAREER MOVES
KyShara Penns ‘13 (Nursing) is the Director of Obstetrical Nursing for F.F. Thomsen Hospital in Canandaigua. Penns will oversee the Birthing Center, where nearly 750 babies were delivered in 2023. Previously she was with Golisano Children’s Hospital. She is currently in the master’s in leadership of healthcare systems at the University of Rochester School of Nursing.
Theresa (Lippa) Cimino ‘18 (Business Administration) started a new position as a Network Pharmacy Business Analyst at Hackensack Meridian Health. Previously she was with Rochester Regional Health.
London Booker ‘16 (Childhood and Special Education) is a High School Counselor at Rochester City School District. Previously he was a School Counselor at University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men in Rochester.
Joel Belliveau ‘06 (Mathematics) joined Topsail Re as vice president of analytics in August 2024. He holds an FCAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society. Previously Belliveau was with National General Insurance for nine years as an Acturial Manager and Acturial Analyst.
Dr. Victoria Houser ‘15 (Communication) is an Assistant Teaching Professor at UC Santa Barbara in the Writing Program. Her research interests center on cultural and feminist rhetorics, specifically gender, sexuality, reproductive justice, and trauma.
Khue (Kate) Nguyen ‘23 (Chemistry and Psychology) joined the University of Rochester as a Research Specialist in Sept. She will be assisting in conducting neurological research studies, analyzing and interpreting data to validate patient and caregiver-reported outcomes, and more.
Vanessa Iantorno ‘24 (Business Administration) is starting a new position as a Staff Accountant at Flaherty Salmin CPAs in Rochester. She completed an internship at the firm in the spring.
Lauren Vileria ‘19 (Marketing) recently joined Meet Rise as the Manager of Marketplaces.
Karen Higman M ‘03 (M.S., Management) joined Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women as the vice president of development in July 2024. Previously she was a Principal at SBS Fund Counsel.
Hannah Limpias ‘24 (Communication) started a new position as an Administrative Assistant at Rochester Education Foundation.
Davon Jackson ‘17 (Business Administration and Management) is the new assistant coach for Colorado Christian University’s men’s basketball team. Read the story
David L. King ‘79 (Music Education) is a new teacher to the Bruce Shool District in Bruce, WI. and will be teaching elementary music and middle school choir.
