Katie Territo and Mingjie Gao Successfully Complete The Academic Research and Leadership Honors Program

The Psychology Department is pleased to congratulate Katie Territo and Mingjie Gao on their successful completion of The Academic Research and Leadership Honors Program this December.

Both of these students proudly presented the results of their research on December 3, 2021, which will prepare them for their endeavors after graduating.

Katie presented her extensive research on The Effects of Therapy Dogs on Different Domains of Stress in Undergraduate Students.

Mingjie presented on Why Do Collectivism and Individualism Produce Different Responses to Depression.

We wish Katie and Mingjie the best and are confident that they will continue to succeed.

The Academic Research and Leadership Honors Program is a rigorous program offered at RWC for juniors and seniors to challenge their thinking and leadership skills through mentorships, research projects, and studies with Dr. Porterfield. Within this program, students perform a concentrated research project to gain further insight into their major and apply it to society.
