Dr. M. Richard Rose, former board member at Roberts Wesleyan College, passed away on April 10, 2020. Rose served as a Trustee from 1991-2003, Chair of the Board 1997-2002 and Trustee Emeritus from 2005-2009.
Rose was a former president of both Alfred University and RIT. He served from 1974 to 1992 in higher education. He was inducted into the RIT Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Clarice; sons Scott, Eric and Craig; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.
