Chris Williams ’92 (Social Work) and ’00 (Master of Science in Management) was recently named Executive Director of The VE Team Ownership Group (Vertical Engineering, LLC). Chris spent the past 13 years as the Athletic Director at Southern Wesleyan University (Central, SC) and was the Women’s Basketball Coach at Roberts Wesleyan prior to that.
With over 20 years of experience in ropes course and zip line creation, the family-owned VE Team is passionate about aligning their construction with the client’s course dreams. Another unique aspect of The VE Team is that it has multiple connections to Christian Higher Education. Both owners and the executive director attended Christian colleges (Houghton, North Greenville, and Roberts Wesleyan) and today carry their college experiences into the outdoor adventure industry.
