Roberts Enactus: Enthusiasm. Innovation. Spirit.

Roberts Wesleyan College advanced to the Final Four after a successful semi-final round at this year's Enactus National Expo. In addition to Roberts Wesleyan, the Final Four also included University of Missouri-Kansas City, Brigham Young University and North Central College.

There are 285 Enactus teams in the US. Of those teams, 64 could compete in the Traditional competition while another 24 teams could compete in the Early-Project Stage competition, which is new this year. The Roberts team chose to compete in the Traditional Competition, which was a 12 minute memorized presentation. Due to COVID-19, 44 teams competed in the Traditional Competition and 24 teams competed in the Early Stage, which is separate.

The Roberts presentation, which was virtual this year, focused on the theme of growth in our projects that were all geared towards our city, Rochester, NY. The team enthusiastically put in countless hours and showed unbridled spirit! We are extremely proud of our talented Enactus presentation team including:

  • Ben Deacon
  • Tania Arellano
  • Connor Starr
  • Savannah Lee
  • Josh Myles
  • Katie Russell
  • Justine Sharda
  • Marc-Anthony Blackburn

We are elated for our Roberts team for advancing to the Final Four for the 4th time. It was an exciting competition this year and the winning team selected to advance to represent Enactus United States at the Enactus World Cup 2020 in Utrecht, Netherlands was Brigham Young University. The final standings were: 1st place: Brigham Young University, 2nd place: University of Missouri-Kansas City, 3rd place: North Central College, and 4th place: Roberts Wesleyan College.
