Redhawks Who Soar - July 2019

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its 18,000+ living alumni who are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, ministry, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few!

Kristin Monica’13’15 (Early Childhood and Special Education, Master of School Counseling), Development Manager at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation CNY, in Syracuse, recently sent us a list of alumni updates. After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college. “I know they are crushing it and advancing their careers” Kristin said of this month's Redhawks Who Soar:

Amanda Read’13 (Elementary and Special Education) is a teacher and Director of Special Education at a King Center Charter School in Buffalo. She completed her Master’s in Special Education at Daemen College. Read more.

Keisha James’15 (Communication and Psychology) is a Development Specialist at WHYY in Philadelphia. She received A Master’s in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from Villanova University in May 2019.  

Victoria Houser’15 (Communication and English) is working her doctorate in Rhetorics at Clemson University. Read more.

Taylor (Harding) Johnson’13 (Music Education) is a Music Teacher for the Rochester City School District.

Julia Wilson’15 (Pre-Medicine) is a Physician Assistant at Pacific Medical Center serving the Greater Seattle Area.

Katie Kovatch ’14 (Music and English) received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2017. She is an AML/BSA Analyst at AML RightSource in Cleveland, OH.

Matthew Thomas’15 (Communication and Spanish) is a Production Associate for aerospace engineering standards with SAE International and a Communications Lecturer at Penn State Beaver Campus in Pittsburgh. He received his M.A. in Communication Theory and Research from West Virginia University in 2017. 

Brian Sieling’13 (Contemporary Ministries) is the Youth Director at Victor Community Church in Victor. Read more.

Margaret-Anne (Male) McKay’12 (English) is the Library Manager at the Rodman Public Library in Rodman, NY.

Katie Male-Riordan’13 (English and Communications) is the Library Manager at Hay Memorial Library in Sackets Harbor, NY.

Jacob Kippen’14 (Marketing) is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Rooftop Realty Group, LLC in Syracuse.
