Keeping OM In The Family

On May 11th, Christina and John Northrup followed in their parents’ footsteps and walked across the stage to get their degree in Organizational Management (OM). Their parents, Marie’04 and Stephen’06, also completed the OM program. “It was the perfect program to do alongside my brother,” said Christina. “We both learned a lot while working full-time and we were able to apply the concepts we learned in the modules to our jobs,” she said. Christina, John and Stephen completed their degrees online while Marie chose the classroom program. Christina and John work together at Blue Heron Consulting in Rochester where Stephen is the President and CEO. Marie is the VP of IT at the YMCA of Greater Rochester.

Kristine Seewagen also graduated from the OM program on Saturday. Her father, Frank Dolan, completed the program in 1989. “I’m proud beyond words,” said Frank. Kristine said “I am proud of this achievement and being able to successfully juggle work, family and academics to accomplish this goal.” Kristine is the Scholars Program Manager & Academic Advisor at the University of Rochester. Frank is retired from Bergmann Associates.

Congratulations to these recent graduates, not only on their degree, but also for adding to the Roberts Wesleyan College legacy!
