Redhawks Who Soar - January 2019

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its 18,000+ living alumni. Roberts alumni are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Here are this month’s Redhawks Who Soar:

Steve Shewan’83 (Music) recently won 1st place in a national music competition. Shewan won the award for his composition of “Mother Goose Gems” set to music. His music has been broadcast on more than 200 radio stations in America. Read the full story.

Brianna Starr’18 (Education) is a teaching English as a New Language (ENL) for Greece Central School District in both the middle and high schools. Starr was the first graduate for the ESOL program at Roberts. She graduated in December 2018.

Jason Blackwell’06 (Organizational Management) is the vice president of housing operations at Episcopal SeniorLife Communities. Read the full story.

James Swiech’08 (Accounting and Information Management) was recently promoted to partner of Tette & Ingersoll, a division of Allied Financial Partners in Victor, NY. Read the full story.
