Barnes Symposium to Explore Dialogue between Science and Theology

Renowned theologist and philosopher Dr. Thomas Jay Oord to deliver keynote address

Much has changed in the field of contemporary science since Albert Einstein’s time, including the relationship between science and theology. The Barnes Science and Faith symposium, an annual lecture series that explores issues of science and Christian faith will further examine this topic, as renowned theologist and philosopher, Dr. Thomas Jay Oord will offer 10 reasons this often-volatile dialogue is even more relevant and important today.

Hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary, this free lecture will be held on Monday, January 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith Hall/Lake Auditorium at 2301 Westside Drive, North Chili. In addition to the lecture, a chapel service and a dinner/Q&A forum with Dr. Oord will be offered earlier in the day on the Roberts Wesleyan campus. The chapel service is free and open to the public and a $10 registration fee is required for the dinner/Q&A session.
