Dr. Barta and Megin Resig'07 Join Good Day Rochester to Share about Roberts' New Music Therapy Program

Dr. Daniel Barta, chair of the Department of Music and Performing Arts and Megin Resig'07, LCAT,MT-BC shared about Roberts Wesleyan College's new Bachelor of Science program in music therapy program on Good Day Rochester Jan. 11. Music therapists work with everyone, from children to the elderly, Alzheimer’s patients, and clients with substance-abuse issues, brain injuries and mental health problems. They use musical performance, lessons, songwriting and music listening as therapy to address the physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs of individuals of all ages.
