The Department of Psychology is delighted to announce the hire of Dr. Sonnette Bascoe. Dr. Bascoe joins our department with a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Rochester, a M.A. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Rochester, a M.S. in School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan College, and a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College. Dr. Bascoe comes to us with a rich background as a School Psychologist, Adjunct Professor at SUNY Geneseo, and Research Assistant. Dr. Bascoe has also received many Professional Honors, Awards, and accomplished several published manuscripts. Dr. Bascoe recently reviewed an article entitled “Interparental Conflict Appraisals and Adolescents’ Maladjustment in Siblings: An Actor-Partner Interdependence Model," which was submitted for review to Child Development.
