Roberts Ranks Favorably in 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings

Roberts Wesleyan College landed favorably in the Best Regional Universities category of U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges 2019 rankings. Roberts was ranked 93rd out of 137 colleges in the North region, included on the list. In addition, Roberts was ranked 39th (out of 88) on the list of the Best Value Schools for the North region.

"Roberts has focused on quality and affordable education through keeping financial costs low for students," said Kimberley Wiedefeld, vice president for enrollment management.  "The college has invested in making Roberts affordable, which means the College is not spending as much money in other categories. USA News metrics may reflect the College's strategic priority to balance quality with affordability.  With the largest freshman class in three years, we focused on providing additional support for students to help them achieve their goals and get the best value," she said.

More than 130 four-year, degree-granting institutions are located in New York, the most of any state in the U.S. Dozens of colleges are within the State University of New York and City University of New York systems, two of the largest public university systems in the U.S. Higher education options in New York include many large research universities, midsize colleges, small liberal arts colleges, a couple of federal military academies, and several specialized institutions in urban, suburban and rural environments. Top colleges and universities are located throughout New York, including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the state capital, Albany.
