Roberts Appoints New Director of Multicultural Student Success

Roberts Wesleyan College is pleased to announce the appointment of Herb Alexander as director of multicultural student success. Alexander will work to develop and implement a variety of programs and initiatives for underrepresented undergraduate students, creating an inclusive community that celebrates and cultivates diversity while also preparing students to serve in a global environment. He assumed his role on June 12.

Alexander brings extensive experience in multicultural advising and leadership to this new role, previously serving as graduate assistant for multicultural and leadership affairs at Roberts Wesleyan College and assistant coach for the Roberts Wesleyan men’s basketball team.

“Herb is a champion in every sense of the word and strives for excellence in all he does,” Vice President for Student & Organizational Development and Chief Diversity Officer Ruth Logan said. “I am confident he will use his passion for diversity and leadership to champion a transformational culture that will benefit all our students at Roberts Wesleyan.”

Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree in history and master’s degree in strategic leadership from Roberts Wesleyan College. He resides in Rochester.
