World-Class Leadership Experts Visit Rochester Via Livestream

Roberts will host the Live2Lead worldwide leadership event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, on campus in Lake Auditorium at Smith Hall. The event will feature No. 1 New York Times best-selling author John C. Maxwell, personal money management expert and best-selling author Dave Ramsey, former Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. CEO Cheryl Bachelder and former NFL’s Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn.

The event is open to the greater Rochester community. Tickets are $99 and can be purchased here. Admission includes a continental breakfast, lunch, networking and a bonus session. “We are excited to have these speakers on campus to deliver leadership messages to inspire and motivate local business professionals,” said John Walker, professor of applied management and decision sciences at Roberts Wesleyan College. “Live2Lead is a worldwide leadership simulcast and we are delighted to share this professional development experience at the college.”

About the speakers:

  • John C. Maxwell: Identified as the No. 1 leader in business by the American Management
Association and the world's most influential leadership expert by Business Insider and Inc.
    magazines in 2014.
  • Dave Ramsey: Ramsey’s company, Ramsey Solutions, offers a message of hope to anyone
who wants to better understand the principles of proper money management, the
importance of strong leadership, and focused intensity on setting and reaching individual
    goals.
  • Cheryl Bachelder: A passionate restaurant industry executive, Bachelder inspired a servant
leader culture that is expressed in Popeyes’ six guiding principles. In 2016, she received the
Outstanding Woman in Business Award from Independent Women's Forum.
  • Warrick Dunn: Dunn played 12 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2009, he was approved by NFL owners to become a limited partner of the Falcons. He honors his deceased mother through his charity work by assisting single parents and their dependents to become first-time homeowners.
