Redhawks Who Soar - June 2018

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its 18,000+ living alumni. Roberts alumni are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Here are this month’s Redhawks Who Soar:

Eric Ellias '87 (Social Work) was recently honored by the CT Association of School Psychology as the School Psychologist of the year for the state of Connecticut.

Sean Leduc’18 (Management-Entrepreneurship) graduated in May and is the Fiscal Intermediary (FI) Specialist at Starbridge Services, Inc. in Rochester. In this role he will support the FI team that currently serves over 100 individuals in the greater Rochester and outlying areas.  He will continue to be involved with the BELL program at Roberts and hopes to develop more athletic opportunities for the BELL students.  In his senior year, he was instrumental in the creation of the BELL swim team and their first ever swim meet.

Michael Loete ('14 OM,'16 MSL) is the Director of Provider Network Operations at iCircle Services in Rochester. He leads a team to support a new health insurance product specifically marketed for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Loete is also pursuing his doctorate in Executive Leadership at St. John Fisher College.

Mark Saladzius’09 (Mathematics, minor in Physics) has successfully dunked a basketball in 50 states!  It took three and a half years to complete this feat with his final dunk in Hawaii on June 1. Saladzius is the assistant men’s basketball coach at Roberts Wesleyan. He previously played professional basketball for the Bradford Dragons in the United Kingdom from 2012-13.

Anne Rosati-Hooper ‘06’09 (Mod Nursing, Master’s in Nursing Education) is the executive director of Seabury Woods for Episcopal SeniorLife Communities. Read the full story.

Kirk Wagar’90 (History) is the Co-Chairman at Mercury (a public strategy firm).  In this role, he will spearhead development of operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously he was the Ambassador to Singapore from 2013-17. Read the full story.
