Rochester, N.Y. -  This year, the Math and Science club completed their fourth year of Adopt-A-School (sponsored by the Amercican Chemical Society) and their first year working with School #3 (The Nathaniel Rochester City School). In this program, college students and faculy travel to the school once a month to teach a hands-on science lesson to an inner city fourth grade class. To celebrated the end of the year, the club brought the fourth grade students on campus on April 25th, 2014.

The students rotated through five activities in the RWC departments of physical education, art, biology, chemistry, and nursing with Roberts’ students as group guides and assisting in each activity. The students also ate lunch on campus and were sent home with their own set of science goggles, their artwork, the polymers that they made in the chemistry activity, and a bag of healthy snacks. The students from both Roberts Wesleyan College and School #3 had a wonderful time! In all, 62 fourth grade students, teachers, and chaperones received a "taste of college life"!
