Share thisTrash Audit Conducted at Roberts for Earth Month
On Friday, April 11, Roberts' Ecological Stewardship Committee, the Facilities Department, and local waste removal company Boon & Sons collaborated on a campus trash audit. The Facilities Department gathered garbage bags from every building on campus, brought them to the central location in the middle of campus, and then sorted through the trash to separate the recyclable materials from the rest of the garbage.
The goal of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of recycling. All of the recyclable materials are reused for good purposes, instead of ending up in landfills.
