Nursing Faculty - Full-time (2 postions)

Position Description/Responsibilities:  The Dean of the School of Professional Studies is accepting applications for two full-time, tenure-track Nursing faculty positions; for service beginning with the 2014-2015 academic year.  Rank is open and will be commensurate with qualifications.   The Department of Nursing actively seeks prospective faculty with acute/critical care expertise and those who are comfortable working with traditional and non-traditional students in classroom, clinical, high-fidelity simulation, and fully online courses.  As a learning community grounded in the Christian faith and committed to excellence in nursing through innovative education, scholarship and service, the Department of Nursing serves 350 nursing students in growing pre-licensure and post-licensure bachelor of nursing degree programs and a vibrant graduate program with nursing education and nursing leadership/administration tracks.

Qualifications:  Preparation at the doctoral level; must have a strong commitment to the integration of Christian faith and professional practice; and a willingness to support and identify with the College’s Christian mission and identity.  Candidates who have teaching experience are especially welcome to apply.
