February 11, 2013: Embraceable You—Sizzling dance numbers, nostalgic ballads, and romantic comedy, all backed by live musicians and set under the Paris sky - You'll believe you are watching Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse trip the light fantastic!

The brainchild of musical theater performers Dean Balkwill and his wife, Lisa, Embraceable You is a 90-minute music and dance production filled to the brim with songs by legendary composer George Gershwin and his lyricist brother, Ira. Dean and Lisa, backed by live musicians, sing and dance the story of a Parisian romance between an American named Bill and a French lounge singer named Marie Clair.

With a running time of one hour and 45 minutes -- including a 15-minute intermission -- the show will feature classic Gershwin compositions such as Nice Work If You Can Get It, Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off, the title track Embraceable You, and much more.

About the Balkwills: Dean Balkwill played the lead in a Broadway production of Rent and has appeared in popular musicals such as The Lion King. Lisa, meanwhile, was a cast member in shows such as Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret and Grease. The two first met as fellow performers in a production of The Who’s “Tommy.”
