November 30 & December 1, 2012—The True Story of Cinderella: Warren Martin’s comic opera is a hilarious spoof using traditional opera, as well as blues, rock and rhythm.

“The True Story” features a Knight from Notre Dame, a Wizard who sings the Blues, and a Prince with laryngitis. All the familiar characters are there—joined by several others who are new to the story.

The show is presented in the unique “oratorio style” - with the singers in a row across the front of the stage, facing forward, not looking at or playing off each other. The songs are interspersed within the narrator’s story, with all its twists and comic moments.

The True Story of Cinderella is an uproarious twist on a family favorite that’s fun for all ages. You will be taking many memorable lines home with you from this show.
