Roberts Reads Event - a play "Living History"
RWC presents a play: “Living History”, by Matthew Moore, Assistant Professor of History, RWC
What high jinks happen when a nineteenth-century living history museum closes its doors for good? This dramedy offers us a behind-the-scenes look at such zany antics including (among others) an over-eager Civil War re-enactment, a wedding in jeopardy, a raudulent archaeological dig, a no-holds-barred trivia duel, really bad B-movies, rediscovered antique love letters, and the world’s worst Lincoln impersonator. Here’s your backstage pass to experience the screwball history behind the history.
Free to all students, faculty, and staff. $5.00 at the door for all others.
November 8 at 7:30p.m.
