Financial Aid Resources
Helpful Video for Completing the FAFSA:
The US Dept of Education recently created an enhancement to the FAFSA filing process called the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. This process will make providing accurate 2013 federal income and tax information on your 2014-2015 FAFSA faster and easier than ever before and will streamline and expedite the processing and verification of your financial aid. We recommend the following steps:
- E-File your 2013 federal tax returns as soon as possible.
- Keep your W-2's even if you do not file a return.
- Wait for the IRS to process your return - approximately 2 weeks.
- File your 2014/2015 FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool OR use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to update your FAFSA .
