College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

Roberts Wesleyan College recognizes work done beyond standard high school achievement. Below find a list of CLEP Exams that RWC will accept for transfer credit and the transfer equivalency. Please note that if a course is not listed but is given by The College Board, RWC may not accept the credits. Make sure that the exam which you will be taking is transferable as the course equivalent desired. No more than 30 credit hours may be awarded for credit by examination.

CLEP Exams are offered in the Learning Center at Roberts Wesleyan College.

As of January 1, 2014, all candidates are required to pay for the $80.00 CLEP exam fee via My Account @ Credit cards, checks, and money orders will no longer be accepted at the test center. Candidates will then be issued a voucher after paying for the CLEP exam and must bring the voucher to the test center on the day of the exam.

The essay portion of certain exams must be submitted as noted in the last column. Credit cannot be granted without approval of the essay by RWC faculty.
Credits cannot be posted to the student's academic record unless an official copy from the College Exam Board is received by the Registration Office. Transcripts issued to students will not be accepted or considered official.
Official records of scores can be requested by writing or calling the College Examination Board offices at the address or phone number below.  Please have scores sent to the Registration Office.
