Dr. Cheryl Repass
Dr. Cheryl Repass was a keynote speaker at the February 8th AGATE (Advocacy for Gifted and Talented Education) conference held at BOCES II in Spencerport. Her address was entitled: Consultation: Utilizing an Indirect Service Delivery to reach Gifted and Talented Students. As part of the conference Cheryl also led a parent break out session entitled: Developing Parent Partnerships as a follow up to the address.
Congratulations to Dr. Cheryl Repass who will now be serving as an officer for the Trainers of School Psychologists in New York (TSPNY). Cheryl will be the Liaison for the organization as it interfaces with the New York State Association for School Psychologists (NYASP). Kudos to Cheryl for keeping the Roberts’ School Psychology Program visible in these professional organizations!

Congratulations to Dr. Rod Bassett for the recent acceptance of a manuscript for publication in the Journal of Psychology and Christianity. The article, entitled “Exploring the Psychological Topography of Self-Sacrifice” was co-authored by graduate students Shavaughn Bartz (’13), Monique Bonnett (’13), Sarah Mix (’13), and Laura Scavo (Director of the Learning Center and graduate student). The article will be published this summer.

Dr. Paul Stevenson
Dr. Paul Stevenson will be teaching Psychopathology to a groups of students earing a masters in Christian
Counseling in Lima, Peru this May. He will also be teaching a Group Counseling course to Seminary students in Iquique, Chile, also in May.
