Alumni Spotlight

Heidi Paul BS, RN,  RWC graduate in 2011, received the Florence Nightingale Award for exceptional care of patients and their families at her hospital in July 2013.  To be considered for the quarterly honor, a nurse must be nominated by a doctor and then the nomination is voted upon by the other doctors in the hospital.

Sue Zumchak BS, RN, NCSN passed the certification test offered by the National Board for the Certification of School Nurses (NBCSN), March 2010.

Jennifer (DiBiasi) Spencer, as of February 2012, is working as a Nursing Lab Coordinator for an Associate Degree program.

Krista L. Yoder, RWC graduate in 1987, is the Program Director of the UPMC Hamot School of Anesthesia/Gannon University in Erie, PA since 2009.

Joshua Smith was a winner of the First Annual Upstate New York March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Award in October 2011.  The award recognizes nurses throughout Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse and the Southern Tier in fourteen different categories.  Joshua received the award in the area of Critical Care.

Kim (Keeley) Callihan is planning to attend University of Colorado to obtain her FNP.  She is currently working with Shannon Smith (2003) and Bekah Warner (2004) in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Bethany Morse works at Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital in Sierre Leone, Africa.  Over 1500 children were treated in the pediatric ward in 2011.

Santhiny (Balasingham) Rajamohan (1994) works as an Assistant Professor of Nursing here at Roberts Wesleyan College and is enrolled in a PhD program at the University at Buffalo.
